Important Updates

Greetings chapter leaders,

Please read the importance information below regarding updating new chapter officers on the Nursing Network chapter website and the charter renewal dues.

Officer Updates

If you haven’t already done so, please update your Chapter Officer/Board of Directors page with your new FY24 officers as soon as possible. Nursing Network will now be linked to the national database and will update any officer changes with daily updates. As of Aug. 31, all officers listed on the Nursing Network sites will be downloaded into the national database. We need the names of your current officers so that AACN has the correct chapter information. If they are not your current officers, AACN will not have current chapter contact information.

Nursing Network has made this task much easier with its new Board Update Tool, which makes officer updates quick and easy. If you have any questions about the tool, please contact Nursing Network.

Charter Renewal Dues Update

Chapter charter renewal dues were discontinued in March 2022. We understand there was some confusion due to the charter end date appearing on the chapter officers’ homepage. We have now removed this date from the chapter officers' homepage. Your chapter charter remains active, and no renewal fees are required now or in the future.

As for the funds you would have spent on charter dues, we encourage you to reinvest in your chapter and members. Now more than ever, nurses need reliable support networks, including your chapter, in which you have invested so much of your time to nurture and grow.
